% 01.07.2025 [Physical Hearing/Hybrid Hearing (as per request)] CRL.M.A.18245/2025 (exemption) 1.

Allowed, subject to all just exception.

CRL.M.A. 18244/2025 (early hearing) 2.

Vide order dated 08.05.2025, the petition was allowed and the petitioner was directed to be released on parole for four weeks subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent. Thereafter, petitioner filed CRL. M.A. 17532/2025 seeking modification to the extent of dispensing with directions to furnish surety and that application was adjourned to 05.08.2025 so as to enable the State to verify address of the petitioner. Now, this early hearing application has been filed. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 3.

Learned ASC accepts notice and does not object to early hearing. The application is allowed and hearing dated 05.08.2025 is preponed to this day. 4.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that earlier, the State had verified address of the petitioner and on that basis, exemption from furnishing surety can be granted. Learned ASC submits that the said verification was done long ago.

5.

In further submissions, it comes out that on 26.05.2025, the petitioner filed an application before the Jail Superintendent for permission to furnish surety through videoconferencing. The petitioner wants to furnish surety of his wife through videoconferencing but that application remains pending till date.

6.

Considering the above circumstances, order dated 08.05.2025 is modified only to the extent that the surety may be furnished by petitioner through videoconferencing with the Jail Superintendent, so that the basic object of a reformatory tool does not get mired in technicalities. Accordingly, the application CRL. M.A. 17532/2025 stands disposed of.
