By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks following prayers: "...A. Issuance Of Writs Of Certiorari Or Mandamus Or Any Other Applicable Writ Or Order To The Respondent Thereby Allowing The Premature Release Of The Petitioner On The Sentence Already Undergone By The Petitioner By The Order Dated 16.07.2004; or B. Issue a Writ, directing that the Board meeting may be held with Videography..."

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on the other hand, argues that it is not the case of double murder. However, the judgment of the learned Trial Court dated 22.04.2019 in para nos. 2 and 21 reveals that it is the case of double murder which under rule does not make the petitioner herein even eligible to be considered for premature release. 6.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.

Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. 8.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the concerned authority by 07:00 PM today itself.
