The limited prayer in the present petition is for issuing directions to the ld. Trial Court for expeditiously concluding the Trial in case titled "State vs. Raju Solore @ Rahul & ors", FIR No. 527/2019 under Section 498a/406/34 IPC & 4 DP Act, P.S. Karawal Nagar. 2.

The learned counsel submits that charge-sheet was filed in this case in the year 2022. Charges were framed on 01st July, 2024. Since then the case is listed for petitioner's evidence and till date not a single witness has been examined.

Even though not much time has lapsed since the framing of charge and as informed by learned counsel for the petitioner that delay was also on account of some of the dates granted by the Court for the purpose of settlement between the parties, yet, considering the fact that the FIR is of the year 2019, it is expected that the ld. Trial Court would make all possible endeavour to dispose of the case expeditiously and shall curtail unnecessary adjournments.
