This writ petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking writ in the nature of mandamus directing Respondents No. 1 to 3 to grant protection to the Petitioners from Respondents No. 4 and 5. 4.
It is stated in the petition that the Petitioners are major and out of their own free will, have married each other on 18.12.2023. Marriage Certificate along with documents including the Matriculation Certificate have been filed.

Learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the State and on instructions submits that the mobile number of the Beat Constable of the area concerned shall be provided to the Petitioners. 7.
In view of the above, it is directed that the number of Beat Constable will be provided to the Petitioners during the course of the day, on which they will be free to call in case any assistance is required. Needless to state that if and when any call is received by the concerned Beat Constable, he will act promptly and render whatever assistance will be necessary. 8.
