Petitioner is defending a civil suit and, initially, the grievance was with respect to dismissal of his one application whereby he was seeking production of certain documents.

It is submitted that the abovesaid application was dismissed by the learned Trial Court as his request for amendment in the written statement was also declined.

It is now informed that the aspect regarding dismissal of his application under Order VI Rule 17 CPC was challenged before this Court and this Court has already permitted the petitioner (defendant) to amend the written statement.

He submits that in view of the order dated 24.03.2025, the petitioner is no longer interest in pursuing with the present petition. He, however, seeks liberty to move appropriate application afresh in view of the fact that the amendment has now been allowed by this Court. In view of the above, the present petition, along with all the pending applications, is disposed of as not pressed.
