This is a petition filed under Section 29A of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months.

It is stated that the parties were trying to settle the disputes and hence, the delay.

Mr. Nandy, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am satisfied that a sufficient cause for delay has been shown. Hence, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 1 year from today. The period from 05.04.2025 till today stands regularized. 6.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
