% 14.12.2018 Review Petition No. 446/2018 (by the petitioners seeking review of the orders dated 16.10.2018).
1.
The only ground taken by the petitioners in the present review petition for seeking review of the judgement dated 16.10.2018 is that a similarly situated candidate namely, Prawesh Kumar, whose candidature was also rejected by the respondent No.2/CISF vide orders dated 02.12.2017, on the ground that that he is suffering from colour blindness/defective vision, has subsequently been selected by the Indian Army as a Sepoy on 20.06.2018 and he is currently on Training Duty at Nilgiris. 2.
Mr. Arora, learned counsel for petitioners submits that Prawesh Kumar has been selected in the Indian Army despite an adverse opinion of the Medical Board.
W.P.(C) 879/2018
3.
We have enquired from learned counsel for petitioners as to how would the said ground be available to the petitioners for seeking review of the judgement dated 16.10.2018 when no error apparent on the face of the said order has been pointed out. In any case, the petitioners cannot compare themselves with Prawesh Kumar, whose reference has been made in para 6 of the petition, particularly when the yardstick adopted by the Indian Army for making recruitments is not the same as the one adopted by the CISF. 4.
The application is dismissed as it is beyond the scope of review. HIMA KOHLI, J REKHA PALLI, J DECEMBER 14, 2018 savita/ap W.P.(C) 879/2018
