The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following reliefs:

"(i) issue writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ against the respondents thereby including petitioner's colony (ELD-18, Sarai Kale Khan Village), falling in Khasra No. 96 &. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

9712, Sarai Kale Khan Village, New Delhi under purview of the PM Uday Scheme;

(ii) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other writ, order or direction in the nature thereof in favor of the petitioner association and against the respondents restraining them from excluding Petitioner Colony falling in Khasra No 96 &, 9712, ELD-18, Sarai Kale Khan Village, New Delhi from the list of Unauthorized colonies as mentioned in Annexure-II of The National Capital Territory of Delhi (Recognition of Property Rights of Residents in Unauthorized Colonies) Regulations, 2019;

(iii) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other writ, order or direction in the nature thereof in favor of the residents of petitioner association and against the respondents restraining them, their agent, representatives from dispossessing the residents of petitioner association and/or conducting illegal demolition upon the subject property falling in Khasra No. 96 8. 97 12, ELD- 18-Sarai Kale Khan Village, New Delhi." 4.

Mr. Asheesh Jain, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner had made a representation to the respondent/DDA dated 11.04.2025 (Annexure P-17). However, no order has been passed on the said representation.

Mr. Jain, on instructions, submits that the petitioners will not press the present petition any further, in case a direction is given to the respondent/ DDA to treat the present writ petition as a representation which may be disposed of by a speaking order.

In view of the above, issue notice.

The order so passed may be communicated to the petitioner as well as their counsel within a period of two weeks thereafter. 10.

Needless to say that the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the Court against speaking order, if so advised.
