The present petition has been filed by the petitioner as regards alleged unauthorized construction at the property bearing No.A-30, Vikram Nagar, Delhi-110002.

The petitioner is stated to be a resident of the adjoining property i.e. A-31, Vikram Nagar, Delhi-110002.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the rampant unauthorized construction is being carried out in the property bearing No.A30, Vikram Nagar, Delhi-110002, including encroachment on the public land in the vicinity of Feroz Shah Fort.

Learned counsel for the MCD, who appears on advance notice submits that the property in question has already been booked and a demolition order dated 13.03.2024 has already been passed with regard to the unauthorized construction subsisting in the form of ground, first and second floors of the property in question.

She submits that appropriate action for demolition of the unauthorized construction shall be duly taken and that the demolition is expected to be scheduled shortly.

Let the MCD take the requisite demolition action, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks. Needless to say, the same shall be subject to statutory/appellate remedies of the owner/occupier of the property in question.

In view of the aforesaid, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. The same is accordingly, disposed of.
