The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent no.2 (Food Safety and Standard Authority of India - FSSAI) to grant product approval in favour of the Petitioner for a product bovine (cow) colostrums powder.

The learned counsel appearing for FSSAI submits that if the petitioner applies for product approval under the Food Safety and Standards (Food Product Standards and Food Additives) Regulation, 2011, the petitioner's application would be duly considered and disposed of within a period of three months from the application being made. 3.

FSSAI is bound down to the aforesaid statement and shall process the

petitioner's claim for product approval within the specified period. 4.

The Respondent would also give due credit for the fees already deposited.
