By way of present petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners seek directions to respondent No.1 to grant protection to them. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners states that petitioners are major. Petitioner No.1 is about 21 years old whereas petitioner No.2 is about 20 years old. In support of the same, petitioner No.1 has placed on record, a copy of her school ID card whereas petitioner No.2 has placed on record, a copy of his Aadhar card. It is further submitted that petitioners have married each other on 09.05.2024 according to Muslim rights and customs and in this regard, copy of the marriage certificate/nikahnama has also been placed The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Respondent No.2, the father of petitioner No.1, is present in Court and has been identified by the I.O. He states that he is aware of the marriage and has no objection to the same.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent No. 1 to provide mobile number of the beat officer to the petitioners.
