JUDGMENT

SANJEEV SACHDEVA, J. (ORAL) 1.

Petitioner seeks supply of a copy of the record of Summary Security Force Court Trial proceedings as also the punishment order. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the copies By:SONIA THAPLIYAL 11:07:14 W.P.(C) 9920/2023

were not supplied as there was no application received from the petitioner and the application was received from an advocate without any authority letter being enclosed therewith. He submits that in case an application is received from the petitioner signed by him, the requisite documents shall be provided within two weeks from the date of the receipt of the application.

Petition is, accordingly, disposed of permitting the petitioner to make an application for supply of copy personally. On such an application being made, copy of the trial proceedings as well as the punishment order shall be furnished to the petitioner within two weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the copy be forwarded to the petitioner through the Advocate. 5.

In case such a request is made in the application, providing the name and address of the counsel to whom copy is to be supplied, the same shall be supplied through counsel and it shall be deemed compliance of request for furnish of copy.
