Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioners with the following prayers: "a) Issue a writ of prohibition/protection thereby directing the respondents no. 1 and 7 to provide protection to the petitioners of their life and liberty and not to harm them in any manner.

b) Pass order/directions to the respondent no. 2 to 5 and their relatives or their relatives or their associates not to interfere in the peaceful life of the petitioners in any form and not to extend any type of threat to them or cause any type of injury to them either themselves or through any other person through any type of any mode and keep themselves away W.P.(CRL) 1555/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Respondent No. 2 to 5, who are parents and relatives of petitioner No.1 having interacted with petitioner No.1 through VC submit that they have no objection to the matrimonial alliance between petitioners who are major and assure her that they shall not interfere in their peaceful matrimonial life.

Learned ASC for State also submits that SHO, P.S. Delhi Cantt. shall take necessary steps in accordance with law to ensure safety and security of petitioners subject to their sharing of whereabouts as the same is unknown to police.

Taking the statement of respondent No.2 to 5 in the presence of their counsel as well as learned ASC for State on record, petition is accordingly disposed of.
