O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent no. 1 to provide adequate protection to the petitioner from any harm at the hands of respondent nos. 2 (SHO Kalindi Kunj) and 3 (ASI Nahar Singh).

It is stated that the petitioner had filed a complaint with P.S. Kalindi Kunj and he alleges that his complaint has not been correctly recorded. Further, he alleges that he has been arrested by certain police officials from the said police station. The petitioner also states that he was compelled to withdraw the original complaint filed by him. 3.

Mr Mehra, learned standing counsel appearing for the State, submits

that without entering into any controversy as sought to be raised by the petitioner, investigation regarding the petitioner's complaint be transferred to another police station.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is also agreeable if the investigation is transferred to District Investigation Unit (South-East District) (hereafter 'DIU').

In view of the above, further investigation is transferred to DIU. This court is informed that a chargesheet has already been filed. In the circumstances, DIU shall examine the material and file a supplementary chargesheet, if considered necessary.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 7.
