2.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is taken on Board.

3.

Ms. Ruchika Rathi, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the captioned writ petition was being heard alongwith the aforesaid batch of petitions, and the petitioner, an employee of respondent No. 1 - Hotel Corporation of India, is similarly placed with the parties to the said petitions. petition is similar to the relief sought in the said writ petitions. The relief sought in the said writ petitions, extracted in paragraph 1 of the judgment, are as follows:

"i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, and/or any other appropriate writ, order or direction under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India for implementation of 2008 Guidelines issued by Respondent No.4 for the revision of scale of pay for the year 2007;

ii. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ, order or direction under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India directing the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 for disbursement of arrears and payments of gratuity in terms of 2008 Guidelines issued by Respondent No.4 for revision of scale of pay for the year 2007 and iii. pass such other and further reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case." 5.

These prayers are identical to the prayer sought in the captioned writ petition.

6.

Learned counsel for the respondents have taken instructions, and do not dispute that the present case is pari materia to the writ petitions, which were decided in the aforesaid judgement. 7.

Ms. Rathi submits that in these circumstances, the petitioner would be satisfied with an order that the captioned writ petition is disposed of in terms of the judgment dated 06.10.2023.

8.

Consequently, with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, and following the judgement of the coordinate Bench dated 06.10.2023 in W.P.(C) 7358/2020 and connected matters, W.P.(C) 8279/2020 stands dismissed.
