This petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator to complete the arbitral proceeding and pass the Arbitral Award. 4.

notice and, on instructions, submits that the Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator. 6.

It is submitted by learned counsels for the parties that arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments which are to commence from today and since the mandate of the learned Arbitrator has expired on 25.02.2025, the same be extended for a period of 09 months from 13.05.2025.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties and considering that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments, mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of 09 months from 13.05.2025 and period between 26.02.2025 to 12.05.2025 is regularized. 8.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
