% 23.07.2019 On the last date of hearing this court had passed the following order: "On the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is, despite a complaint having been filed before the CIC, the same has not been considered by the CIC. Mr. Gaurang Kanth, Adv. who appears for CIC has been requested to take instructions in that regard. Let a copy of the writ petition be given to Mr. Kanth" Learned counsel for the CIC has placed before me a communication dated July 22, 2017 addressed to him by the Deputy Secretary (Law) of Central Information Commission. The same read as under: "1. Please refer to your e-mail dated 12.07.2019 on the subject cited above.
2. In this connection it is informed that the appeals/complaints filed during March/April, 2018 are being presently listed in the concerned Registry for hearing. The appeal of petitioner filed on 15 May, 2018 will come up for hearing approximately in the last week of October, 2019 (Approximately four months). This may kindly be apprised to the Hon'ble Court on the next date of hearing on 23.07.2019. In view of the fact that the complaint of the petitioner shall be considered by the CIC in the last week of October, the present proceedings are closed.
