This application has been filed for directions to the respondent/Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to release the goods of the petitioner seized on 03rd May 2025.

This application is in the context of order dated 17th May 2023 passed by the Division Bench of this Court directing that the petitioner/street vendors be allowed to vend within their respective zones, strictly in terms of the conditions specified in their certificates of vending. 3.

Counsel for the petitioner states petitioner was vending goods on a mobile cart, but even then, it was seized without following correct procedure. 4.

Without going into merits of the matter, the petitioner is agreeable to his goods being released upon payment of the statutory cost in this regard. 5.

The question of whether procedure adopted was correct or not shall remain open.
