This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months for making and publishing the award. 2.
Notice was issued to the respondent and as per the affidavit of service, the respondent has been served at its email ID i.e.
jrainfratechgarhwa@gmail.com on 30.04.2025.

Mr. Bhadra, learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over some letters dated 08.06.2022 by the respondent showing the said email ID. The same are taken on record.

The respondent has been served. Despite service, there is nobody appearing on behalf of the respondent and nobody has appeared before the arbitral tribunal as well for the last many dates. 5.
It is stated that the delay occurred on account of repeated opportunities granted to the respondent.

I am satisfied that a sufficient cause has been shown. 7.
