% 08.08.2018 Present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:
"In the premises aforementioned, it is humbly and most respectfully prayed that Your Lordship may be pleased to: (a) Issue a notice calling upon the Respondent to show cause as to why its elections dated 14.12.2017 of the Respondent should not be declared null and void ab initio; AND (b) Declare the elections dated 14.12.2017 and the complete election procedure of the respondent to be void abinitio; AND / OR Pass an order to conduct the elections again in consonance with the Memorandum of Rules and Regulations of Indian Olympic Association and allow the petitioner to participate in the election and cast an appropriate vote in it; AND / OR Pass such other and / or further order (s) as this
Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."
Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition with liberty to challenge the decision of the Indian Olympic Association to recognise the Boxing Federation of India instead of the petitioner herein. With liberty as prayed for in accordance with law, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
