% 27.10.2017 CM No.38245/2017 & WP(C) No.9589/2003 The petitioner has filed the present application, stating therein that the petitioner has reached the age of superannuation and has retired from the respondent Department. The petitioner has further stated that he does not wish to pursue the petition and seeks to withdraw it.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be allowed to withdraw the petition, to which learned counsel for the respondent has no objection.

Accordingly, the application is allowed and the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
