1. This writ petition is taken on board upon mentioning.

2. This petition challenges the Preliminary Findings 12th November 2015 of the Designated Authority (DA) in relation to the anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of 'Purified Terephthalic Acid' (PTA), originating in or exported from China PR, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia & Taiwan. The Final Findings dated 9th June 2016 have since been rendered by the DA.

3. By a separate order passed today, the Court has declined to entertain Writ W.P.(C) No. 878/2016

Petition (C) No. 6162 of 2016 filed by this very Petitioner challenging the said Final Findings in view of the alternate statutory remedy of an appeal available to the Petitioner before the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT).

4. This writ petition is accordingly dismissed leaving open the contentions urged by the Petitioner to be raised in the appeal if any filed by it before the CESTAT against the Final Findings of the DA. The next date of 1st September 2016 stands cancelled.
