CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT MAHAJAN

O R D E R

% 21.07.2025 1.

The present application is filed seeking regular bail in FIR No. 211/2021 dated 01.05.2021, registered at Police Station Sagar pur, for the offence under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

2.

At the outset, it is pointed out by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State that the trial is at the fag end and only the Investigating Officer ('IO') remains to be examined. 3.

It is further submitted that the matter is listed today before the learned Trial Court for examination of the IO. 4.

It is argued that by order dated 23.10.2024, the Hon'ble Apex Court had dismissed the special leave petition filed by the applicant against dismissal of his bail application by this Court The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. with directions for conclusion of the trial within six months. 5.

Even though the Hon'ble Apex Court had granted liberty to the applicant to file a bail application afresh if the trial is not concluded within the stipulated period, however, considering that now almost all the witnesses have already been examined and the matter is at the cusp of conclusion, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the present application at this stage. 6.

The application is, therefore, dismissed.

7.

Considering that the FIR was registered in the year 2021, the learned Trial Court is requested to conclude the proceedings within 2-3 months.
