% 18.03.2025 [Physical Hearing/Hybrid Hearing (as per request)] W.P.(CRL) 1564/2024 & CRL.M.A. 15224/2024 (stay) 1.
In furtherance of last order, it is informed by respondent no. 2 that Mehrasons Jewellers refused to test the articles for the reason that the same were not purchased from them.
2.
However, respondent no. 2 submits that she wants to finish the entire proceedings by accepting whatever jewellery is being given by petitioners. 3.
Under these circumstances, petitioner no. 1 has handed over to respondent no. 2 the entire eight jewellery articles, as detailed in settlement agreement dated 29.11.2021. Respondent no. 2 has checked all those articles with the help of her counsel and is satisfied with same. As submitted by both sides, the full and final settlement amount of Rs.15,00,000/- as well as all furniture articles have already been delivered to respondent no. 2. Towards acknowledgement, respondent no. 2 and her counsel have signed this ordersheet.

4.
Respondent no. 2 after consulting her counsel submits that now she is satisfied with the compromise, so the criminal proceedings be quashed. 5.
Parties lived together for hardly three months as husband and wife; and there is no child born to the parties. In view of their young age, they should get a chance to restart their life. Further, parties have voluntarily settled all disputes and their marriage already stands dissolved by decree of divorce with mutual consent and respondent no. 2 received all her dues. As such, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice to quash the trial proceedings.
6.
In view of these circumstances, the petition is allowed and accordingly FIR No. 0575/2015 of PS South Rohini for offence under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC and the proceedings arising out of the same are quashed.
