The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 („Cr.P.C.‟) has been filed on behalf of petitioner seeking issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to provide round the clock armed security personnel for the security of the petitioner. 2.

Issue notice. Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State.

This Court notes that the petitioner herein has filed a representation before the Commissioner of Police, Delhi on 29.03.2024. The DCP concerned will treat the present petition as representation on behalf of the petitioner and may decide the same within four weeks under intimation to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, and the fact that petitioner has prayed for protection of his life as he is apprehending threat perception, the petitioner is directed to provide his mobile number to the Investigating Officer and SHO. Similarly, the mobile numbers of concerned IO, SHO and beat constable be also shared with the petitioner. 5.

The officials of the concerned Police Station including SHO are directed to act as per law, in case any complaint is received on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for petitioner states that he is satisfied with the aforesaid arrangement.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of in above terms.
