Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case arising out of FIR No. 101/2022 dated 30.01.2022, registered at P.S. Sangam Vihar. Initially, the case was registered under Section 307 IPC but later got converted to Section 302 IPC. 2.

Learned Addl. P.P. for the State submits that material public witnesses have been examined and only few formal witnesses are left and every endeavour would be made to record their testimony, as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the abovesaid assurance, learned counsel for the applicant, at this juncture, does not press his bail application. 4.

The bail application is, accordingly, disposed of as not pressed. Learned Trial Court is also directed to record the testimony of the remaining formal witnesses as expeditiously as possible, and to make best endeavour to dispose of the matter, preferably, within a period of six months from the date it takes up the matter.
