% 12.02.2018 A status report has been filed by the State. It is in continuation of the earlier status report filed by them. It is stated that an appointment has been taken by the petitioner on 31.01.2018 in the OPD of AIIMS and again for 09.02.2018 for the further treatment of the children of the petitioner. Dr.Biswaroop Chakaraborty, Assistant Professor, Paediatrics Neurology, AIIMS has opined that the child is suffering from a progressive Neuro muscular disorder which does not have a definite care. The disease might progress and affect the daily activities of the children which require periodical service on regular basis. In this context, learned counsel for the State points out that even if parole is granted, it would not serve any purpose as it is not a case where the disease can be cured. The children require treatment

as advised by the concerned doctor which treatment is an ongoing process. The mother of the children is there for looking after the childten.

Noting the above narration of facts, the parole granted to the petitioner shall be extended for another period of four weeks to be counted from today on the same terms and conditions. Needless to state that the petitioner will surrender on the expiry of the aforenoted period of four weeks.

Petition disposed of.

Order dasti under signatures of the Court Master. A copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendant concerned for intimation.
