This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- "i. Issue writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ(s) / order(s) / direction(s) for fixation of pay of the petitioner as per office memorandum no. 16-1/2017/E-IIIA dated 10.01.2018 issued by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India whereby the Petitioner is entitled to a consolidated pay of Rs. 4,00,000/- per month without deduction of pension for his tenure as member (legal) in petroleum and natural gas regulatory board between 04.12.2017 and 19.03.2020 with all consequential reliefs and benefits including arrears; ii.

Issue writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ(s) / order(s) / direction(s) to the Respondents to release the amount of the monthly pension of the Petitioner deducted from his pay for the period from 4.12.2017 to 19.3.2020 with a reasonable rate of interest as per para 3 of the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance Office Memorandum No.16-1/2017 /E-IIIA dated 10.01.2018. iii. Pass such other direction(s)/order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the present case." Ms. Nidhi Raman, learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents hands over a copy of an Office Order No.26 (2024-25) dated 24.05.2024 and submits that entire arrears of pay, pension and leave encashment, arising on account of revision in composite pay of the Petitioner have been released to him after deducting the expenses incurred by PNGRB on providing the hired vehicles to him and the excess amount of contribution made by PNGRB in his CPF account. 3.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, on instructions, acknowledges that a sum of Rs.48,61,967/- has been paid to the Petitioner and all his claims stand satisfied.

Since the grievances raised by the Petitioner in the present petition stand satisfied, no further order is required to be passed in the present petition and the same is accordingly disposed of, taking the order dated 24.05.2024 on record.
