% 07.09.2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.141/2010 dated 22.04.2010 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Section 420 IPC against the petitioner. The complainant is present in Court. He is identified by the Investigating Officer as well his counsel. He has also produced his ID card, which has been shown to the Court and returned. The parties have settled their disputes for an amount of Rs.15 lacs. The settlement amount has been tendered in court to the complainant by way of demand draft bearing no.089100 dated 07.09.2016 for Rs.15,00,000/-, and the same has been accepted by him. The complainant states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
