O R D E R

The present bail application has been filed seeking bail in FIR No. 57/2019 under Section 14 of Foreigners Act and under Sections 22/25 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he has been in custody since 14.03.2019. He submits that as per the allegations in the FIR, total 97.3 grams of Methaqualone was found partly from his possession and from the dickey of the Scooter. He further submits that out of eleven witnesses, three witnesses have been examined. He has referred to the document dated 17.12.2019, vide which e-FRRO has extended the petitioner's e-visa upto 12.01.2020.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to furnish the local surety. He further submits that the petitioner shall deposit the passport with the trial court. 4.

Learned APP for the State, on the other hand, opposed the bail application. He, on instructions, submits that the extension of e-visa of the BAIL APPLN. 1709/2019

petitioner has been verified to be correct.

In view of the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is admitted to bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court and subject to the following conditions :- (i) The petitioner will not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promises to the complainant or any witness during the trial or tamper with the evidence. (ii) The petitioner shall provide the I.O./SHO Police Station Maidan Garhi, Delhi with his mobile phone number and in the event of change of his residential address, shall inform the same to the I.O./SHO.

(iii) The petitioner shall deposit the Passport with the trial court.

(iv) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the National Capital Territory of Delhi without prior permission of the concerned Court.

(v) The petitioner will remain regularly present before the Trial Court.

(vi) The petitioner shall report to the IO/SHO, Police Station Maidan Garhi Delhi, on first Monday of every month at 10:00 a.m. 6.

With the above directions, the bail application is disposed of. DASTI.
