The Petition under Section 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C has been filed on behalf of the petitioners for quashing of FIR No. 369/2019 for the offence under Sections 420/468/471/34 of the Indian Penal Code (hereinafter referred to as 'IPC, 1860') registered at Police Station Prashant Vihar, Delhi.

It is stated that the petitioners and the respondent No. 2 have amicably settled all the disputes and differences between them and arrived at Settlement vide Settlement Deed dated 12.05.2023. The complainant and petitioner No.1 are co-sisters (Devrani and Jethani) who had earlier been living in the suit premises. Petitioners have got their I-card etc made at the given address which became the bone of contention between the parties. Now by virtue of the settlement, the petitioners have agreed to vacate the premises and the keys of the flat are handed over today in the Court to the complainant who has accepted by her.

Petitioner Nos.1 to 3 and respondent No.2/complainant are present in the Court in person and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned. Petitioner No.4 is stated to be hospitalised. The parties have endorsed the amicable settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily.

Today, the complainant, who is present in Court, states that he has no objection, if the FIR is quashed.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice, to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 8.
