The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for seeking parole for a period of three months. 2.

Nominal Roll dated 23.01.2018 reveals that the petitioner was convicted under Sections 376(2)(G)/328 IPC and was sentenced to undergo life imprisonment with fine `8,000/-. Crl.A.445/2013 was dismissed by this Court on 28.05.2015. Nominal Roll further reveals that the petitioner was granted furlough for considerable time in

February, 2017; September, 2017 and November, 2017. The petitioner surrendered after availing the last furlough on 08.12.2017. It is too early to seek parole on insufficient grounds soon after availing furlough till 08.12.2017.

The parole should not be a regular and continuous feature. The writ petition is unmerited and is dismissed.
