Mr. Rishad Chowdhary, learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 3 submits that the appellant filed a writ petition being W.P.(C) 5766/2020 challenging the charge-sheet issued against him, however, during pendency of the said petition, the respondent No.1 has already proceeded and punished the petitioner vide order dated 22.06.2023 and thus, the present appeal has become infructuous.

In view of above, the present appeal is dismissed being infructuous with liberty to petitioner to challenge the charge-sheet as well as the punishment order before the appellate court. Pending application also stands disposed of.
