The present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayers:

"In view of above stated fact and circumstances of this matter most humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to i.

issue a writ or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents authorities to grant one annual increment for petitioners last year of their services rendered to the department of Boarder Roads, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, ii.

issue a writ order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in these circumstances of this case, in the interest of justice."

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents states, the case of the petitioners shall be considered keeping in view the Judgment of the Supreme Court and if the petitioners are entitled to the benefit thereof, same shall be granted within eight weeks from today by passing a necessary order. 4.

Taking the submission on record, we dispose of the petition by stating, if any of the petitioners is aggrieved by the order to be passed by the respondents, he shall be at liberty to seek such remedy as available in accordance with law.
