The present petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the th order dated 04 October, 2023 passed by the Division Bench in W.P. (C) No. 7498/2023, wherein in had been directed as follows:- "xxx xxx xxx The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

If that be so, the present petition is allowed. The office memorandum dated June 12, 2018 and June 22, 2018 are set aside. As the petitioner has already been paid the leave encashment and we have been informed that Gratuity has not been released, the same shall be released within a period of two months from today with interest to be paid @ 6% per annum from the date of entitlement till the release. xxx xxx xxx"

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that after the filing of the present petition, he received an Office Order dated 16th May, 2024, wherein the petitioner was conveyed that the Competent Authority had approved for payment of the gratuity amount in terms of the directions of the Court.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has handed over copy th of order dated 16 May, 2024, which is taken on record. She submits on instructions, that the amount of ₹ 12,19,672/- towards the retirement gratuity of the petitioner, shall be released within a period of one week from today. The aforesaid statement of the respondents is taken on record and the respondents are held bound by the same.

At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that st subsequently, by order dated 21 November, 2023 passed in Review Petition No. 315/2023, the petitioner had sought liberty to make a representation to the respondents seeking other benefits.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to st November, 2023, a representation dated 26th the order dated 21 December, 2023 has been filed. However, till date, no reply has been received. 8.

Accordingly, it is directed that the representation of the petitioner be considered and appropriate order be passed by the respondents, within a period of eight weeks from today.
