% 20.05.2024 By way of the present petition filed under section 29A of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal for a further period of 06 months with effect from 20.05.2024, when the last extended mandate expires.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that the proceedings before the learned Arbitral Tribunal have been concluded and award has been reserved.

Mr. Vishal, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent on advance copy; accepts notice; and does not oppose the prayer made, except to say that the averments contained in the petition that relate to the merits of the matter are not admitted by the respondent.
