The present matter is listed today based on office note of the Registry of this Court whereby a request from the concerned ASJ i.e., ASJ-01 (South-East) POCSO, Saket Courts, New Delhi seeking extension of time for disposal of case was received by the learned Registrar General.

None appears for the Petitioner. The learned counsel for the Respondent has no objection to further period of six months as has been prayed for, being granted.

However, in view of the fact that a period of six months has already transpired and the trial has been pending for more than almost twelve years, during which the Petitioner has been in custody, it is directed that a further period of four months may be appropriate for concluding the trial.
