% 24.08.2020 This hearing is conducted through Video-Conferencing. CM No. 20033/2020 This application is filed by the petitioners for withdrawal of the writ petition. It has been stated that the petitioners have filed a writ petition before the Punjab and Haryana High Court and in order to avoid conflicting orders, the petitioners seek to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file a writ petition in case a necessity arises. This application is strongly opposed by the learned counsel for the respondent Bank. It has been pointed out that the petitioners are indulging in forum shopping inasmuch as they have initiated proceedings in the civil court in Gurgaon, before the concerned DRT and also before the Punjab and Haryana High Court. It is urged that the writ petition may be dismissed with exemplary cost.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners states that he wishes to withdraw the writ petition simpliciter.

Keeping in view the prayer of the petitioners, the application is allowed.
