The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No. 735/2017 under Sections 420/467/468/471 of the IPC registered with PS Jamia Nagar.

According to the Investigating Officer (IO), the petitioner had executed two sets of documents relating to the property bearing No. 158, Khasra No. 245, Gali No. 22, Moti Masjid Road, Zakir Nagar Okhla, New Delhi. One set of the said documents dated 13.02.2015 records a transaction in favour of one Rehana Begum, while the other set of documents dated 13.05.2014 indicates a transaction with one Aftab. It is alleged that Aftab also has executed two set of documents in favour of different purchasers. 3.

It is pointed out that Aftab has already been granted bail. Further, the petitioner has also joined the investigation.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with two sureties of the equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the IO. The petitioner shall also ensure that he continues to join the investigation and would report to the IO as and when required. The petitioner shall also provide his mobile number and ensure that he is reachable on it at all times.
