% 25.07.2018 By this petition, the petitioner had sought a writ of mandamus to record the statement of petitioner No.2 in FIR No.98/2017 and to direct respondents to ensure fair, impartial, proper and expeditious investigation. Learned Additional Standing Counsel on instructions submits that statement of petitioner No.2 has since been recorded. She further states that the CCTV footage which was blurred was seized and DVR of the CCTV was sent to the FSL, report thereof is awaited. She further states that the Investigation will be finalized after the receipt of the report of DVR of the CCTV.

In view of the Status Report and the statement of learned Additional W.P.(CRL) 433/2018

Standing Counsel for the State, no further directions are required to be passed by this Court.

Petition is disposed of.
