The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner- Om Prakash Bharti under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of directions to the Respondents to permit the Petitioner to participate in the survey being conducted by the Town Vending Committee (hereinafter, 'TVC').

The Petitioner claims to be a valid vendor, vending near Gate No.4, Palika Bhawan, Chankyapuri, New Delhi (hereinafter, 'the vending spot'). It is the case of the Petitioner that he has been vending at the said vending spot The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. since 2012 and he further relies upon certain challans issued by the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (hereinafter, 'NDMC').

The prayer in this writ petition pertains to the survey of the street vendors being conducted by the TVC in terms of the Street Vendor (Protection of Livelihood & Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme, 2019. The Petitioner has sought issuance of appropriate directions to participate in the said survey. 6.
Considering the nature of this case, the Petitioner is permitted to participate in the survey being conducted by the TVC, subject to the NDMC verifying the credentials of the Petitioner as also the vending licence, challans, etc.

Petition is disposed of in these terms. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
