application for FMGE. The case of the petitioner is that he could not apply for the eligibility certificate during the window period available from 22.04.2025 till 06.05.2025, just by one day. However, when the petitioner tried to apply on 07.05.2025, the portal did not accept the application. However, immediately thereafter the petitioner on 08.05.2025 sent an email to NMC.

This Court vide order dated 16.05.2025, after recording that petitioner prima facie appears to have the eligibility, had permitted petitioner to take Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), subject to the outcome of present writ petition.

Mr. T. Singhdev, learned counsel appearing on behalf respondent no.2/NMC has handed over across the Bar a public notice dated 26.08.2025, to contend that vide said public notice, respondent no.2/NMC has allowed the candidates to apply for eligibility certificates who have not yet obtained the same.

He submits that online submission of application in that behalf can be made from 01.09.2025 onwards till 30.09.2025. 5.

Mr. Maninder Singh, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that the application for issuance of eligibility certificate will be made by the petitioner on opening of the portal itself i.e. 01.09.2025. 6.

As and when the application is submitted by the petitioner, respondent no.2/NMC is directed to process the same and issue eligibility certificate within a period of one week.

Mr. Singh further submits that pursuant to the order of this Court passed on 16.05.2025, petitioner had taken FMGE examination but the result of the petitioner has been withheld by the respondent no.3/NBEMS. In view of the above development, the respondent no.3/NBEMS is also directed to declare the result of petitioner latest by 01.09.2025. 9.

The application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. W.P.(C) 6395/2025 10.

In view of the order passed above, no further orders are called for in the present petition.

The petition alongwith pending applications, is disposed of. 12.

It is clarified that the order has been passed in the peculiar facts of the present case.
