The present petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. seeks the following prayers:

"(i) Quash F.I.R. No. 316/2021 U/s 376/506 IPC Ps: Dwarka South, Delhi along with Charge-Sheet & Supplementary Charge-Sheet U/s 376/506/323 IPC and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, presently pending in the Court of Ms. Shama Gupta, Ld. ASJ (S/W), Dwarka, Delhi in S.C. No. 165/2022 titled as "State Vs. Sharad Sharma" (NDOH: 19.09.2023), in the interest of justice. (ii) Pass any other or further order deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in favor of the Petitioner, in the interest of justice."

During the course of hearing, it was pointed out by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that prior to the filing of the present petition, charges qua the present Petitioner have been framed by the learned Trial Court vide order dated 01.03.2023 and the same has not been challenged by the Petitioner. In view of the above, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition seeking prayer for an expeditious trial.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn thereof.

It is made clear that no arguments have been addressed on the merits of the present case.

The learned Trial Court is directed to ensure that the trial is conducted as expeditiously as possible without giving any undue adjournment to any other parties, within the period of 1 year from today. 8.

The Petition stands disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of. 10.

Order be communicated to the learned Trial Court the necessary information and compliance.
