O R D E R

% 15.10.2019 Quashing of FIR No. 92/2019, under Sections 406/34 IPC read with Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, registered at police station Anand Vihar, Delhi is sought on the ground that the matrimonial dispute between the parties stands amicably settled through Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi vide Settlement Agreement of 20th April, 2019.

Notice.

Counsel appearing on behalf learned Standing Counsel for the respondent/State accepts notice and submits that petitioners as well as respondent No.2/ complainant of this FIR, are present in the Court and W.P.(Crl.) 1932/2019

they have been duly identified on the basis of identity proof furnished by them.

Respondent No.2, present in the Court, submits that the dispute between the parties has been amicably resolved through Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi vide Settlement Agreement of 20th April, 2019 and terms of settlement reached between the parties have been fully acted upon. Today, she has received the balance settled amount of Rs.4,00,000/- by way of demand draft bearing No. 637140, dated 6th May, 2019 from petitioners and that now no dispute with petitioners survives and therefore, the proceedings arising out of the FIR in question be brought to an end.

Since the subject matter of FIR in question stands amicably resolved between the parties, this petition is allowed and FIR No. 92/2019, under Sections 406/34 IPC read with Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, registered at police station Anand Vihar, Delhi and the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed qua petitioners. This petition stands disposed of.
