The petitioner accused seeks interim bail in case FIR 427/2023 of PS Jahangir Puri for offence under Section 498A/304B/34 IPC for a period of 15 days on account of death of his father. It is submitted by both sides that father of petitioner passed away on 10.05.2024 and the learned Additional Sessions Judge granted him interim bail of two days for immersion of ashes of his father in Ganga after which he surrendered. been filed, stating that on 22.05.2024 is Tehrvi of his father, so the petitioner seeks to be released on bail for 15 days to join Tehrvi and other rituals. Learned prosecutor has filed status report submitted by the IO Inspector Arun Chauhan.

Learned prosecutor submits that there is no serious objection to grant of interim bail except regarding the period as 15 days are not required. 3.

Considering the above circumstances, the application is allowed and the petitioner is admitted to interim bail for a period of five days with effect from the date of his release subject to the petitioner furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned trial court of learned Additional Sessions Judge. The petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent positively by 04:00 pm on 26.05.2024. 4.

Accordingly, the pending application also stand disposed of. 5.
