On 9th January, 2024, the Joint Registrar passed the following order: "The record suggests that the appellant and its counsel were earlier served on 07.10.2022 and 09.11.2022 respectively. They have now been re-served as well on 02.11.2023 and 08.11.2023, vide ordinary processes. The counsel for the respondent had otherwise been served on 28.11.2023 vide ordinary means.

Despite being served twice, none has been appearing for the appellant so as to take steps for the further progress of the petition. List the matter before the Hon'ble Court on 06.02.2024." 2.

Even today, despite multiple calls, no one has appeared on behalf of the Appellant. In view of the above, it clearly appears that the Appellant is not interested in prosecuting the present appeal. 3.
