The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner- Vinay Jain under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking release of two gold chains, weighing 15 grams and 50 grams respectively, as also two iPhones 15 Pro Max (hereinafter, 'goods') which have been seized from the Petitioner vide Detention Receipt bearing no. DR/INDEL4/10-04-2024/004168 dated 10th April, 2024.

Ld. Counsel for the Respondent raises a doubt as to whether the Petitioner has in fact signed the present petition or not as the signatures are not matching.

The Court also notices that no passport details or travel details of the Petitioner or any of the identity details have been provided in the present petition.

The Memo of Parties also does not have the email address or the mobile number of the Petitioner.
