IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI
+ W.P.(C) 7839/2019 SHRI ANOOP GEORGE CHAUDHARY ..... Petitioner Through:
Mr Ashish Mohan and Mr Mohit Kumar, Advocates.
versus GOVT. OF NCT OF DELHI AND ANR.
..... Respondents Through:
Mr Gautam Narayan, ASC for GNCTD.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIBHU BAKHRU
O R D E R
% 26.07.2019 1.
The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents to release the outstanding dues to the petitioner as per the invoices dated 30.01.2018 and 12.02.2018. The petitioner states that the bills have not be cleared by the respondents for want of Brief Transfer Form (BTF). He states that he is a senior advocate and is not required to submit a BTF.
2.
Mr Gautam Narayan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the bills submitted by the petitioner are being verified. He states that a re-conciliation is required which would be done and the amounts, as verified, would be cleared shortly. He assures this Court that BTF is not required to be submitted by a senior advocate and it would not be demanded of the petitioner. He further states that processing of the bills will not be held up on that account.
3.
In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in
this petition except to direct the respondents to process the petitioner's bills as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from today.
4.
The petition is disposed of in the above terms. VIBHU BAKHRU, J JULY 26, 2019 RK
