The present petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking release of the petitioner on parole for a period of two months.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already spent almost more than eight years in custody.

He submits that the petitioner was sentenced for rigorous imprisonment for ten years.

terms of Delhi Prisons Rules, 2018. However, the application dated 03.02.2024 filed by the petitioner seeking parole has still not been decided.

The respondents are directed to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date.

No further orders are required to be passed at this stage. 7.

The petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court in case any grievance remains.
