Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioners with the following prayers : "A. Direct the Respondent to provide immediate police protection to the Petitioner; and/or B. Issue a Writ, Order or Direction in the nature of Mandamus or any other Writ, Order or Direction to the Respondent to provide immediate police protection to the Petitioner and her three minor daughters on the basis of Complaints dated 06.02.2024, 07.02.2024, 01.03.2024 filed by the Petitioner and her minor daughter R with PS Rajouri The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Garden and Complaint dated 16.02.2024 filed by the Petitioner with DCP, West District, Janakpuri, New Delhi; and/or C. Issue a Writ, Order or Direction in the nature of Mandamus or any other Writ, Order or Direction to the Respondent to conduct an inquiry into the Complaints dated 06.02.2024, 07.02.2024, 01.03.2024 filed by the Petitioner and her minor daughter R with PS Rajouri Garden, New Delhi and Complaint dated 16.02.2024 filed by the Petitioner with DCP, West District, Janakpuri, New Delhi and immediately register an FIR against the Accused Persons since the Petitioner and her minor daughters are living in extreme fear of life as they are continuously being stalked, sexually harassed, and threatened of dire consequences by the accused persons namely salim, karim, taslim and an unknown woman. "

Issue notice. Learned ASC for the State appears on advance notice and accepts notice.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of FIR No.113/2019 registered under Sections 452/354/504/506 IPC on behalf of petitioner No.1 at P.S. Faiz Ganj Behta, U.P., petitioners apprehend danger to their lives from the accused.

Learned ASC for the State on instructions from Investigating Officer, submits that Mobile Number of Beat Officer as well as SHO have already been provided to petitioner No.1 to ensure their safety. She further submits that in case any complaint has been lodged by the petitioners, appropriate action shall be taken in accordance with law and outcome will be intimated to the petitioners within a period of four weeks. 5.
